Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Burnix account and the data associated with it at any time.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Burnix and go to Profile → Settings.
- Open Account & data.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. The app shows exactly what will be removed and asks you to type a confirmation before anything is deleted.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your profile and onboarding answers,
- your workout logs,
- your nutrition logs,
- your body-progress entries, measurements, and notes,
- your progress photos,
- your achievements and XP history,
- your friendships,
- your challenges,
- your AI coach conversations,
- your support conversations,
- your notification tokens, preferences, and inbox messages,
- and the sign-in account itself — whether anonymous or linked to email, Google, or Apple.
Deletion is permanent
Deletion cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, we cannot restore your data. If you use Burnix again afterwards, you start from scratch.
Data shared with other users
Friendships and challenges are records shared between two users. When you delete your account, those shared records are removed for both participants — your scores disappear from your opponent’s challenge history as well.
Recent sign-in requirement
For accounts linked to email, Google, or Apple, deletion requires a recent sign-in as a security measure. If your last sign-in was too long ago, the app asks you to sign in again before the deletion runs.
Delete from the web
Web self-service deletion covers accounts linked to an email address and password. If you signed in with Google or Apple, or use Burnix anonymously, please use the in-app path above.
The web self-service section at the bottom of this page shows whether it is currently available and walks you through it.
You can also request deletion through the in-app support chat (Profile → Settings → Help → Contact support) if you cannot complete either path yourself.
